All White in Black Light
Contemporary has been by far my favorite genre of art since all of the pieces have been created in our lifetime. It's also a plus when most of the artists are still alive to interpret our ever so changing culture.
Hito Steyerl's special installation, Factory of the Sun installation, at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles probes the pleasures and perils of image circulation in a moment defined by the unprecedented global flow of data. She takes you on visual story telling journey in a Tron-like room as you relax on patio recliners. The movie is about 12 minutes long, and you can stay after as long as you want.
The exhibit is running till September 12, 2016, so plan accordingly.
